Privacy
The short version: nothing leaves your browser.
What we collect about your screenshots
Nothing. Snazz runs entirely in your browser. The image you drop into the editor is read with the browser's FileReader API and kept in JavaScript memory in your tab. It is never uploaded to a server — there is no upload endpoint to receive it.
When you click Export PNG, the image is composed in an off-screen canvas locally, downloaded to your computer, and that's the end of it.
Analytics
The site loads Statfast analytics to count page views and understand product usage. Analytics data is used to improve Snazz.
Google sign-in
If you choose to sign in with Google, we may receive your email address, name, profile picture, and sign-in time. This helps us understand who is using Snazz, keep your account ready for future paid features, and contact interested users about product updates.
Usage data
We may store product usage events such as sign-ins and exports, including export format and scale. Your uploaded screenshots and generated image files still stay in your browser and are not uploaded to Snazz.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use cookies for tracking. Snazz may use the browser's localStorage to remember preferences (such as your last-used preset) between visits — that data lives on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.
Third parties
We do not share any image data because we don't have any image data to share. The product is built so that we couldn't share it even if we wanted to.
Children
Snazz is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If we ever change how privacy works in Snazz, we'll update this page and bump the date at the top.
